Seasoned early-stage investor Priyank Garg joins IAN as Managing Partner to enhance IAN Alpha Fund’s leadership

Priyank Garg has joined IAN, an Indian seed and early-stage investment platform, as the Managing Partner of the IAN Alpha Fund. The platform believes that Priyank’s addition to the team will bolster the Fund’s leadership and help it surpass its outstanding track record set by Fund 1 and the Angel Group.
Priyank Garg, an entrepreneur and seasoned early-stage investor, has joined IAN as the Managing Partner of the IAN Alpha Fund, bringing with him over 26 years of experience in various sectors such as clean tech, manufacturing, health tech, SaaS, and technology. He has also invested in more than 60 companies both in India and abroad, including cross-border experience with Yahoo. The IAN platform has stated that Priyank’s expertise and experience will enhance the Fund’s top team and enable it to surpass its remarkable track record of Fund 1 and the Angel Group.
In 2019, Priyank co-founded IOTomation, a building IoT company. He is also currently serving as the President of the Delhi Chapter of the Indian Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE). As a TiE Charter Member, he actively supports the Million Sparks Foundation and is involved with several startup and early-stage platforms such as NASSCOM Emerge, India Innovation Initiative, Samsung Innovation, and Times of India Big Challenge jury.
Priyank Garg, the new Managing Partner of IAN Alpha Fund, expressed his enthusiasm for joining the IAN Group and leading the Fund to the next level. Having invested in various sectors with IAN for 14 years, he praised the group’s extensive involvement, portfolio founders’ quality, and commitment to governance and returns.
