Redeminds raises $220k in angel funding from Surfboard Ventures and Contentstack

Redeminds, an education technology startup, recently raised $220k in an angel round from Surfboard Ventures and ContentStack in April 2022. By providing clarity on who their children are, the things they are good at, and how they can achieve true potential, the startup hopes to empower parents to make informed (and free of human bias) decisions for their children.
Redeminds, co-founded in 2021 by Shiv Shankar Patnaik and Nabarupa Chatterjee, is an end-to-end career guidance platform for school students that combines AI and behavioral sciences to provide a personalized map that empowers students to discover their true potential and support build skills for the world of the future. The platform ensures that career recommendations are more than just theoretical beacons (backed up by data and assessments), but also a real-world immersive bridge of skills for occupational groups that will be relevant when the child graduates.
Its services include a strengths finder assessment in the form of a game, which is more relatable to teenagers and personalized 1-2-1 career counseling. It focuses on tier II and III markets, project opportunities with corporates via day-in-the-life immersions, and access to a curated professional community.
