Quick commerce provider Zepto partners with e-logistics firm Zypp Electric


Zypp Electric, an e-logistics service provider, to enable last-mile delivery, has teamed up with e-grocery startup Zepto. The alliance currently has a fleet of more than 1,500 electric two-wheelers that enable more than 20,000 deliveries each day in Delhi. In the following 4 months, this fleet will be expanded to Bengaluru and Mumbai.

Currently, 50 Zepto hubs are served by Zypp Electric in Delhi-NCR. By expanding its fleet and service regions nationwide over the next 12 months, the company hopes to grow its relationship by 10X.

By collaborating with quick-commerce, food delivery, and other commerce-related platforms and outlets, the firm is trying to convert the last-mile logistics in the nation to 100% electric. One example of how their purpose has been carried out is through their strategic partnerships with numerous logistics and e-commerce businesses, which together have helped to cut nearly 17 million kg of carbon emissions in the past 24 months.
