My Cloud Kitchen in partnership NVA Foods, Launches a $1.23 Million Corpus for consultancy services

Mumbai-based My Cloud Kitchen said on Monday that it has formed a joint venture with NVA Foods to support and advise cloud kitchen companies in Bengaluru. For the first tranche, My Cloud Kitchen has set aside $1.25 million in the corpus, which it will use to invest in incubating and advising 18 brands this year, it added.
My Cloud Kitchen was established in 2012 and offers cloud kitchen businesses end-to-end services. The business operates 19 shops in India under its own delivery brands, including Senorita Margarita, Pancake Station, Monk Momo, New York Sandwich, and Omg Churros. The startup says it can help current eateries and catering businesses build cloud kitchen brands that provide a variety of cuisines under different identities while using the same real estate. Hustlers Hospitality had previously purchased a 31% share in My Cloud Kitchen.

“The company will offer consulting services to would-be ‘foodpreneurs’ who wish to enter the food delivery industry. My Cloud Kitchen’ will also offer an R&D team from the beginning in phase 1 consulting, to help brands optimise these costs, since R&D is behind competitor and territory analyses, menu engineering is a must before entering the cloud kitchen space,” said Krunal Oza, founder and chief executive officer of Hustlers Hospitality.
With a dedicated consulting office space and cloud kitchen experience centre in EPIP Zone, Whitefield, this strategic joint venture will help us all work together to strengthen My Cloud Kitchen consulting operations in Bengaluru and better serve the cloud kitchen market, according to NVA foods founder Amit Sarin.
Bangalore-based cloud kitchen NVA Foods was Founded in 2005. Since the pandemic, the cloud kitchen startups in India have begun to acquire popularity. In December of last year, the cloud kitchen startup Big Spoon and Grip Invest, a platform for lease financing, entered into a $2 million lease financing deal.
