Amama, a high-end designer jewellery marketplace, has received $250,000 in seed funding led by She Capital.
According to a press release from Amama, the proceeds will be used to boost its digital presence as well as technologically improve its logistics and operations.
With a team of about 80 people, Amama hopes to expand beyond the Indian market and into international markets. It aims to provide the highest quality jewels while adhering to fair practises and considering sustainability. Amama intends to launch an accessory line in the near future, where customers will be able to shop for all types of fashion accessories under one roof.

Amama claims that it launched its 22kt gold-plated brass jewellery in early 2022, and that the brand quickly became popular among celebrities and fashion influencers such as Alia Bhatt, Masaba Gupta, Kirti Sanon, and others.
Nikita Gupta founded Amama Jewellery in 2018 as a designer and manufacturer of premium fashion jewellery for women.
