HR tech startup InterviewDesk raises seed round of funding

InterviewDesk (ID), an on-demand technical interviewing platform, recently announced that it has raised an undisclosed sum in seed funding headed by Sugumar Natarajan, Executive Director, Anil Foods, and angel investors including former Amazon executives Lakshminarayanan Venkatajalam and Karthick Chandran. Pichumani Durairaj, a former Amazonian, established InterviewDesk in 2018 intending to eliminate inefficiencies in the corporate employment process.
The HR tech startup, that completed fundraising a few weeks ago, wants to utilize the cash to enhance the technical and business teams to improve the technology that powers the platform, according to the company. “In today’s environment, businesses are seeking strategies to scale up their recruiting process to meet their never-ending resource needs.” “The goal of InterviewDesk is to assist firms to employ great personnel faster by combining human and technological involvement,” stated Pichumani Durairaj.

According to the corporate announcement, InterviewDesk grew 400% year on year in the fiscal year 2022.
