Info Edge’s Sanjeev Bikhchandani reappointed as Zomato’s non-executive director

According to a filing to stock markets on Thursday, Zomato’s shareholders agreed to re-appoint Info Edge co-founder Sanjeev Bikhchandani as a non-executive director on the firm’s board.
The firm proposed two resolutions at its 12th annual general meeting on Tuesday, reinforcing its focus on topline growth and assuring shareholders about its road to profitability.
Zomato approved a resolution to review and approve the audited standalone and consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022. It also contemplated reappointing Bikhchandani, who was scheduled to retire by rotation and had offered himself for reappointment.
While 100% of votes were cast in favor of adopting the company’s audited consolidated and standalone financial accounts for FY22, 98.91% voted in favor of Bikhchandani’s reappointment.
