Info Edge has purchased a majority investment in 4B Networks, a real estate technology business run by Housing.com founder Rahul Yadav. Info Edge disclosed in March that it had invested Rs 137 crore in the Mumbai-based business, increasing its ownership to 57.16% on a fully diluted basis. Info Edge is expected to increase its investment in 4B Networks, and the Sanjeev Bikhchandani-led business may purchase a 100% ownership in the 18-month-old company.
Since February of last year, Info Edge has invested Rs 186 crore ($24 million) in 4B Networks in five tranches. According to stock market filings, all four tranches were invested through its subsidiary Allcheckdeals India (ACD).

According to Info Edge, the investment would help ACD expand its offering in the real estate area by giving real estate industry experts a new platform to conduct their business efficiently.
4B Networks, founded in November 2020, is in the business of enabling real estate developers and brokers to interact with one another and do business using the Broker Network Platform. The firm claims to have over 50,000 brokers on its network and to have disbursed over Rs 1,000 crore in housing loans. Yadav owned 33.59% of the firm as of March 2022, while the startup’s other director, Pratik Chaudhary, owned 0.69%. The corporation has retained an 8.57% ownership in its ESOP pool.
