Indrones Solutions secures strategic investment from MapmyIndia for drone solutions

MapmyIndia, a digital mapping and geospatial software firm, has announced a strategic investment of Rs 7 crores to acquire a 20% stake in Indrones Solutions Private Limited, an end-to-end drone solutions startup.
Indrones Solutions Private Limited has revealed that it will utilize the fresh funding to expand its operational capabilities, increase its flying experience, and enhance its capacity to execute more and larger projects for clients, while also developing reliable and autonomous drones. MapmyIndia’s investment in Indrones will enable both companies to take advantage of the rapidly growing drone industry, providing enterprise customers across various verticals with cutting-edge drone capabilities. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Indrones to enhance our drone-based solutions, which is enabling us to meet the diverse requirements of our customers,” said Rakesh Verma, CMD of MapmyIndia.
With the investment in Indrones Solutions, MapmyIndia will expand its offerings to include drones and drone-based solutions for customers. The Mappls app will now feature high-definition and 3D maps, gathered using drone-captured data, providing users with an immersive experience in the metaverse.
