Hyderabad welcomes Jeh Aerospace’s new manufacturing facility launch

Indian startup Jeh Aerospace unveils its aerospace and defence manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, supported by a seed funding injection of $2.75 million from General Catalyst. The company plans to extend the facility to 160,000 sq ft, offering manufacturing solutions to the aerospace and defence sector.
Jeh Aerospace’s inauguration in Hyderabad follows strategic funding partnerships with key figures in the aerospace industry, including former Airbus India CEO Dwarakanath Srinivasan and ex-President of Boeing India, Pratyush Kumar. General Catalyst, a prominent San Francisco-based venture capital company, also contributed to the funding.
Co-founded by Tata Boeing Aerospace ex-Chief Operating Officer Vishal R Sanghavi and Venkatesh Mudragalla, ex-senior executive at Tata Sikorsky Aerospace Ltd, Jeh Aerospace stands out by providing ready manufacturing solutions through scalable facilities and vetted supplier networks.
Vishal R Sanghavi, with extensive experience at Tata Boeing, Sikorsky, and Lockheed Martin, expresses the broader impact of the Hyderabad facility, stating, “The Hyderabad-based facility goes beyond being a physical space, which will transform the global aerospace and defence supply chain.”
Highlighting the significance of the defence manufacturing facility, Sanghavi emphasizes its role in enhancing industry capabilities and resilience to change by establishing a robust supply chain. Jeh Aerospace aims to revolutionize the supply chain experience for global aerospace customers through vetted networks meeting or exceeding global quality standards.
In addition to unveiling the Hyderabad facility, Jeh Aerospace’s manufacturing hub, the company envisions transforming the global aerospace and defence supply chain. According to Sanghavi, it is not just a physical space but a catalyst for positive change in the industry.
