Honasa Consumer appoints Pratik Mukkherjee as VP-Brand Factory

Honasa Consumer Pvt. Ltd. (HCPL), the parent company of brands such as Mamaearth and The Derma Co., announced Pratik Mukherjee as vice president of Brand Factory, where he will be responsible for the launch and creation of new brands for Honasa.
Mukherjee had worked for consumer products firms like P&G, Gillette, and Urban Company before joining Honasa. Mukherjee oversaw Procter & Gamble’s DTC operations in South Asia and India. Later, he joined Urban Company as the vertical marketing manager for cleaning, grooming, and beauty products.
Mukherjee said, “Honasa Consumer’s brands have displaced enormous amounts of market share and won consumer trust in a very short amount of time. I’m excited to be a part of this ground-breaking team and help the business thrive in the future.”

As a ‘house of brands,’ Honasa Consumer Pvt Limited (HCPL) describes itself as a company that develops consumer goods brands with a digital focus. In-house consumer brand portfolios for Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, and Ayuga have been developed by HCPL. It recently purchased shares in the publishing platform Momspresso and the personal care brand BBlunt. Sequoia Capital India, Sofina SA, Fireside Ventures, and Stellaris Venture Partners are the investors in the company.
