Google works with the K’taka government to encourage new local start-ups

Google, a tech giant and leading search engine, and the Karnataka government inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday to support Karnataka’s vision to encourage innovation and the expansion of startups throughout the state.
According to a statement from Google, the company would work with female-led startups and founders in tier-2 and tier-3 cities to provide crucial training, access to partners, knowledge of Google’s suite of tools and technologies, as well as knowledge and mentorship sessions in fields like cloud, user experience, Android, web, product strategy, leadership, and marketing. This would be done in collaboration with the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS).

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on Thursday between the Karnataka government and Google, a tech giant and top search engine, to promote Karnataka’s ambition to foster innovation and the growth of startups throughout the state.
Google said in a statement that it would collaborate with female-led startups and founders in tier-2 and tier-3 cities to offer essential training, connections to partners, familiarity with Google’s arsenal of tools and technologies, as well as knowledge and mentoring sessions in areas like cloud, user experience, Android, web, product strategy, leadership, and marketing. The Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society would work with you on this (KITS).
