Balaji Sundeep, a former Zeta executive, has joined BaaS startup Falcon as VP of Product

In a significant boost to its leadership team, Falcon, a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) business that is upending how contemporary Fintech is constructed, has announced the appointment of BalajiSundeep as the company’s VP of Product.
BalajiSundeep worked as an Associate Director at Zeta before joining Falcon, where he contributed to the development and scaling of a modern lending platform that echoes the flexibility and speed of Falcon’s tech stack and enables banks to quickly launch a variety of products like credit card-based EMIs, BNPL (‘buy now pay later) facilities, and term loans tailored to particular target segments. Balaji, a graduate of BITS Pilani and the Indian School of Business (ISB), has had a diverse range of jobs since beginning his career with Samsung in the hardware industry. He brings to the table a plethora of expertise in developing a variety of B2B and B2C payment and lending products.
Balaji Sundeep stated of the hiring, “Falcon is well positioned to solve today’s Fintech demands. Banks and IT organisations are increasingly seeking modern technology providers who can help them get there faster and cheaply to power new-age goods. He continued, “I am looking forward to working with the team to use Falcon’s embeddable and no-code solutions to simplify the most complicated financial systems.

Every business or financial institution will require a Fintech layer over this decade, according to the Fintech startup. Balaji’s hiring also occurs at a crucial moment for Falcon, which is trying to scale up for the next significant stage of growth.
Falcon co-founder Priyanka Kanwar thinks Balaji’s diverse and extensive experience will enhance the business’s knowledge. “Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) has been growing significantly both in India and internationally, and at Falcon, we’re happy to have become a major enabler of this transition,” the speaker said.
