FanClash, an esports fantasy game app, and Revenant Esports have agreed to a multi-year partnership as the latter’s official partner. FanClash stated that it will interact with its followers through this relationship to provide numerous fantasy engagement activities for them. “FanClash is an aspirational name in the world of esports, and we are thrilled to have them associate with us,” said Rohit Jagasia, founder and CEO of Revenant Esports. We are confident in the long-term success of our esports lineup, team, and content producers. Our association is a move in the right direction for the nation’s esports fandom.
“Esports as an industry has been growing in popularity along with acquiring momentum at a national and international scale,” said Archana Sangaran, marketing director at FanClash. The esports community has been quite supportive of Valorant, a free-to-play first-person hero shooter. As a result, the organisation has been looking for ways to both build excitement and anticipation while also enhancing audience involvement. Our goal has always been to make gaming more accessible through engaging associations, she said.

Despite individuals returning to work as the effects of the epidemic subsided, the FICCI-EY media and entertainment report 2022, “Tuning into Consumer,” stated that the online gaming sector expanded by 28% in 2021 to reach 101 billion. According to the report, there were 390 million online gamers in 2021, an 8% rise from 360 million in 2020, and real money games generated more than 70% of the segment’s sales.
However, since the pandemic’s breakout, there has been a spike in work-from-home and school-from-home activities, which has led to the development of an ecosystem for laptops and mobile devices. In India, 94% of gamers use their mobile devices for gaming. It also stated that from 80 million paying gamers in 2020 to 95 million in 2021, there was a 17% increase.
