Leumas, a provider of digital manufacturing solutions for brands, has successfully raised Rs 7 crore in a pre-seed funding round, spearheaded by leading investors Capital 2B, Anicut Capital, and Capital A.
According to a press release, Leumas announced that the funds raised in the pre-seed funding round, amounting to Rs 7 crore, will be utilized to bolster technology infrastructure, expand the workforce, and facilitate the rollout of GATM. These initiatives aim to assist brands in transitioning to digital manufacturing, thereby improving their business outcomes.
Founded by Nitesh Kumar and Subhajit Biswas, Leumas offers brands in the nutrition, cosmetics, and pharma sectors the ability to access on-demand manufacturing through its innovative digital factory technology. This technology encompasses a cyber-physical platform consisting of modular, re-configurable, and scalable robotic production lines, controlled by software. It provides exceptional flexibility in terms of batch size, product mix, and formats, enabling brands to optimize their manufacturing processes.
