In a significant boost for homegrown healthtech startup Curelo, Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer has made a strategic investment, contributing to a total funding round of Rs 10 crore. This round, which also saw participation from IIMA Ventures, industry stalwart Tarun Katial (Founder of Zee 5), and US-based family offices, is poised to propel Curelo towards its ambitious growth targets.
Curelo, founded in 2022, has been making waves in the healthcare industry by connecting patients with diagnostic labs, offering convenient at-home blood sample collection and timely report delivery. Dr. Arpit Jayswal, Curelo’s Founder and CEO, expressed his delight at Iyer’s involvement, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Shreyas Iyer as an investor in Curelo. This collaboration positions us as a trusted brand with accelerated growth and reinforces our commitment to serving the evolving needs of our users.”
Iyer, known for his prowess on the cricket field, emphasized the importance of health and fitness in daily life, aligning with Curelo’s mission to provide accessible and efficient healthcare services. “I firmly believe that health and fitness should constitute a key part in everyone’s daily routine which resonates with Curelo’s commitment to provide accessible and efficient services,” remarked Iyer, praising Curelo for its innovative and customer-centric approach to diagnostics and healthcare.
The recent influx of investment from IIMA Ventures, Iyer, and industry experts signifies a significant milestone for Curelo. This infusion of capital positions the platform to continue its growth trajectory in the highly competitive Indian healthcare market. With plans to expand its footprint, standardize unorganized labs, and acquire 300 per cent more patients in the coming year, Curelo is poised for exponential growth.
Commenting on the investment, Curelo stated, “The funds will be instrumental in further expanding Curelo’s footprint, standardising unorganised labs, and achieving exponential growth in acquiring 300 per cent more patients in the coming year.” With the backing of notable investors like Shreyas Iyer and a clear vision for the future, Curelo is primed to revolutionize the healthcare landscape in India.
