Aquapulse, India’s trailblazing startup focused on reimagining the post-harvest aquaculture landscape, has announced a fresh round of institutional funding from NABKISAN Finance Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development). This milestone follows the company’s earlier impact investment from Caspian Debt this year, highlighting sustained investor confidence in Aquapulse’s mission and growth potential.
Founded in Odisha by brothers Abhishek Dwivedy (CEO & Managing Director) and Abhilash Dwivedy (Chief Growth Officer), Aquapulse is setting new benchmarks for India’s seafood value chain by reducing post-harvest loss, boosting transparency, and empowering smallholder aquafarmers along India’s coastline. Integrating AI-driven advisory, traceability tools, and robust market linkages, the venture tackles longstanding inefficiencies and strives to ensure fresher, higher-quality seafood for consumers and better incomes for farmers.
“Securing support from NABKISAN Finance Limited is a strong validation of our mission to build resilience in India’s aquaculture sector,” said Abhishek Dwivedy. “This is not just about capital it is about trust, accountability, and a shared vision to empower millions of farmers with sustainable and technology-driven solutions.”
With this funding, Aquapulse plans to accelerate the onboarding of farmers, expand both domestic and export-linked sales channels, and strengthen its infrastructure footprint. Co-founder Abhilash Dwivedy added, “This fresh capital will help us scale our impact faster, broaden access to market opportunities, and build a more inclusive aquaculture value chain for India’s future.”
This latest round cements Aquapulse’s standing as one of the few Indian aquaculture startups to achieve back-to-back institutional funding within a single year, a testament to its sectoral leadership and the rising importance of tech-driven solutions in post-harvest fisheries management.
Recognized under the Startup India and Startup Odisha initiatives, Aquapulse remains deeply committed to enhancing seafood quality, reducing waste, and delivering long-term value for both smallholder farmers and global supply chains.
