13 South Korean startups accelerated by The Circle: Founders Club in India

A group of 13 South Korean startups have received assistance from The Circle: Founders Club (The Circle FC), an Indian business accelerator for early-stage startups and a portfolio firm of Hunch Ventures, in order to investigate market opportunities in India. The 13 Korean firms chosen for the programme were SchoiceHabsida, Urock Inc, Rezi, WhoseGoods, Wordvice, PiQuant, PowePlayer, DenQ, LabSD, Kairos, Mirinae, HiLokal, and You Need Character. These businesses concentrate on e-commerce, cybersecurity, AI, and health technology. The 16-week market discovery and entry programme provided the entrepreneurs with a go-to-market engine to verify, grow, and give them access to business and distribution partners so they could set up shop in India.

The startups completed 650 hours of mentorship, more than 150 one-on-one meetings, and participation in 15 events, including the NASSCOM Product Conclave (NPC), DIDAC India 2023, Expodent 2022 (Mumbai), and other ecosystem meet-ups, during the course of the programme. The Circle hosted the program’s offline demo day. On November 10, a number of stakeholders, including several startup investors, participated in work in Gurugram. For Indian entrepreneurs seeking to grow in South Korea and other East Asian markets, the Circle FC team is also developing bridge programmes.
