Skoda Auto launched its midsize compact SUV SkodaKushaq in July this year. Kushak was well-liked dueto his looks. After launching, Kushak had also received bookings of 10,000 vehicles. But due to a glitchin the fuel pump of the new SUV, the company had to face a lot of criticism on social media. At the sametime, the company had given offers of up to one lakh rupeeson this SUV to increase sales in the festive season. At the same time, the company has launched a new variant of it. The company has launched Khushk with6-airbags. In the mid-size segment, the Khushk competes with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, TataHarrier, MG Astor and Volkswagen Taigun.

But now the new Style AT with 1.0 liter TSI motor has been launched at Rs 16,19,999 (ex-showroom). At the same time, the price of the same variant with 1.5 literTSI engine is Rs 17,99,999 (ex-showroom). 

On the other hand, customers can buy the Skoda Kushaq variant that comes with dual airbags for a price of Rs15,79,000 (ex-showroom). The dual airbag variant with 1.5 liter TSI engine is priced at Rs 17,59,999ex-showroom. The company has given curtain and front side airbags in the new variant of the Khushk, after which the prices have been increased by 40 thousand rupees.

Engine power:

The Skoda Kushaq is currently available with one engine option with a total of three variants – Active, Ambitionand – Style. The Skoda Kushak 1.0 TSI AutomaticAmbition variant is most popular among the buyers. Its 1.0liter 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine generates 115 PS of power and 175 Nm of torque. This engine will be available with the option of 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter gearbox. On the other hand, the more powerful 1.5 literTSI 4 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine produces 150 PSof power and maximum torque of 250 Nm. The option of6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG gearbox has been given with this engine.
