Coinbase buys Agara, its first startup acquisition in India

One of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Coinbase has announced its first startup acquisition in the country. an AI_ powered support platform with operational activities in India and the US, for an undisclosed amount, is acquiring its position in Agara. They are currently planning to leverage Agara’s powerful deep learning and conversational AI technology to automate and enhance the experience of the consumers.

Earlier in the year, the organisation has also announced its strategy to build out a technology hub in the country and for this, the organisation has also hired Pankaj Gupta, the former executive of Gpay.
