Five spacetech startups from IIT Madras have collaborated to form a consortium to build local applied science with speedy launch functionality, satellite TV for the design and assembly of computers, sensors, communication of the future era similar to 6G, the security of satellites, ground stations, knowledge processing, assimilation for the communications sectors and geospatial utilities.
The consortium is called “Indian Area Applied Sciences and Purposes Design Bureau” (ISTAC.DB) and can develop next-generation lenses.
“In today’s world, collaboration is the mantra. It is not possible for a company to do everything necessary for the tip buyer for local purposes. This consortium naturally revolves around all these key players,” Prof. Satya Chakravarthy, Head, ISTAC.DB, and College, Aerospace Engineering Division, IIT Madras, stated in an announcement.
The Memorandum of Understanding for this innovative initiative was recently signed. ISTAC.DB invites companies from the region and related areas to participate.
ISTAC.DB Founding Members Kiss Dron Vayu Pvt. Ltd, Agnikul Cosmos Pvt. Ltd, GalaxEye Space Solutions Pvt Ltd, Mindgrove Applied Sciences Pvt Ltd and Resileo Labs LLP. The consortium is powered by IIT Madras Pravartak Applied Sciences Basis, a Part 8 company funded by the Science and Expertise Division, under its National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Body Techniques and hosted by IIT Madras,
“IITM Pravartak is extremely pleased to synergize dynamic and young entrepreneurs to synergize their ideas and efforts for the ecosystem of the region, mainly based in India, through this platform. It is the expression of their deep dedication and faith that has made this possible,” said Dr. MJ Shankar Raman, Director General of IIT Madras Pravartak Applied Sciences Basis.
The main purpose is imaginative and predictive hyperspectral sensors, photogrammetry and artificial aperture radar sensors, sensor fusion, integration processing mainly based on advanced computers and in-depth study of the area and remote sensing of earth states, 5G/6G/7G communication, intersatellite communication within constellations and various satellite televisions for computing purposes similar to knowledge storage and management, etc.
“After we approached the IITM PTF at Dron Vayu to seek superior technical experience and leadership to strengthen our efforts to ship an entire area program ecosystem primarily based in India, the original idea of this consortium was born. Since then, we have been looking forward to being part of this consortium. This is in line with our deep commitment to offer “GreatestinClass EcoSystem in Area” at the lowest prices to all our buyers,” Manish Kukreti, founder and managing director, Dron Vayu Pvt. Ltd stated.
