Jupitice introduces MSME digital court to resolve commercial disputes of SME entrepreneurs

Jupitice Justice Technologies, which has earlier developed India’s first Digital Court, has now come up with a customized MSME Court (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Court) to resolve disputes in small to medium scale businesses. The MSME Digital Court developed by Jupitice will help MSME owners to resolve their commercial disputes through various ADR mechanisms i.e. mediation, conciliation, arbitration, a company statement said.

The MSME sector is gaining momentum as it accounted for nearly 30% of India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in FY19. Several development schemes have been announced to increase the sector’s contribution to the GDP by 50%.

MSME Digital Court is an AI-powered platform which will resolve disputes under the private justice system which includes civil, commercial, individual, consumer etc.

Commenting on the development, Raman Agarwal, Founder and CEO, Jupitis Justice Technologies, said, “Jupitice’s MSME Digital Court is a digital mirror of the traditional court with ultra-advanced digital justice infrastructure powered by a complete digital justice ecosystem. This means that court settlement through an out ADR mechanism is now possible, all online. SME owners or stakeholders need not worry about investing their time, energy, attention, or money to resolve disputes through a time-consuming litigation process.”

MSMEs also contribute significantly to employment generation, employing around 110 million people across the country. MSMEs are also linked to the rural economy, as more than half of the MSMEs operate in rural areas of India.
