Eagle Eye Networks acquires Bengaluru-based AI startup Uncanny Vision

Eagle Eye Networks, US-based cloud surveillance company, today announced the acquisition of Bengaluru-based AI surveillance startup Uncanny Vision.
Eagle Eye Networks adds advanced AI technology to its cloud-based video surveillance platform, R&D capabilities, engineering talents and a new regional office in Bengaluru, India.
In addition, the US-based company will integrate Uncanny Vision into its operations and retain all of its 60 employees to power its Indian operations. It also plans to expand its Bengaluru office, which is mainly staffed with engineering and technical expertise, with sales and administrative staff to support its operations in India.
“After evaluating more than a dozen AI companies, we launched Uncanny Vision in 2020. It didn’t take long for us to conclude that Uncanny Vision is the clear leader in surveillance AI,” said Dean Drako, CEO of Eagle Eye Networks. “Their award-winning AI technology is being deployed on thousands of sites, including Fortune 500 customers.”
Uncanny’s deep learning algorithms Vision, founded in 2013 by Ranjith Parakkal (CEO) and Navanee Sundaramoorthy (CMO), enables recognition, identification and prediction. improving operations, customer service and site security.
Currently, its services are used in smart parking, store analytics, gate security, toll automation, smart cities, ATM monitoring, worker safety and perimeter security.
