Hyderabad startup gets funding at Shark Tank India


VivaLyf Innovations, a startup founded by the University of Hyderabad, is funded by Peyush Bansal, founder and CEO of Lenskart, and Anupam Mittal, founder and CEO of People Group at Shark Tank India.  

Founded by  Duvvuru Varshita and Vimal Kumar, the startup’s first product is an easy-to-use, inexpensive non-invasive glucose meter called EzLyf. According to the press release, a small glucose meter connects to your smartphone and provides available diagnostic information. 

 “Traditional blood glucose measurement methods are expensive and cumbersome, and currently there is no convenient way to adjust blood glucose cheaply. We want to change that. EzLyf is  more configurable and It’s an inexpensive, painless, plug-and-play blood glucose monitoring system, “says Varshita.

 The startup took second place in the EMPOWER2021 Accelerating Women Entrepreneurship Contest and won the TiE Women Global Pitch 2021 in Hyderabad. You represented Hyderabad as one of the 42 finalists of the TiE Global Pitch Competition in Dubai. They also won the NITTE Healthcare Innovation Hackathon and were included in AIMNITI Aayog’s nine potential healthcare startups in 2021.
