Google Launches ‘Startup School: Prompt to Prototype’ for AI-First Enterprises in India

Google for Startups India has launched ‘Startup School: Prompt to Prototype,’ a hands-on, two-week intensive program running from November 27 to December 7, 2025, aimed at empowering early-stage AI-first founders and entrepreneurs across India. The initiative focuses on helping participants rapidly build AI-powered prototypes using Google’s cutting-edge AI tools, including Gemini, Nano Banana, Imagen, Veo, NotebookLM, and AI Studio.
Supported by key government and industry bodies such as MeitY Startup Hub, Startup India, IndiaAI Mission, and Nasscom, the program provides expert mentorship, product training, and exposure to AI-powered research and creative development. It emphasizes dismantling traditional coding barriers, enabling entrepreneurs from all over India, including tier-II and tier-III cities, to translate bold AI ideas into launch-ready products.
Ragini Das, Head of Google for Startups India, remarked, “The rules for building a startup have fundamentally changed. Idea literacy is the new currency of innovation.” She highlighted Google’s commitment to enabling entrepreneurs to move from concept to creation with confidence, leveraging its full-stack AI ecosystem.
Successful participants will receive a Google-recognized Certificate of Participation and become eligible for the ‘Build the Future’ Showcase in January 2026, which offers additional mentorship and visibility to standout innovators.
The Startup School aligns with broader national goals to foster a digitally empowered and globally competitive startup ecosystem, positioning India as a global hub for AI-first entrepreneurship.
