Good Glamm Group plans to raise about $150 Mn

Good Glamm Group, a content-to-commerce platform, founded in 2017 by Darpan Sanghvi and Priyanka Gill claims to be the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer beauty brand that offers more than 800 cruelty-free and vegan products across various categories such as skin care, makeup, and personal care. The platform has more than 30,000 offline stores in 70 cities across India.
Good Glamm, which was known as MyGlamm earlier, became a unicorn last November when it raised $150 million in a Series D funding which was led by the private equity firms Warburg Pincus and Prosus Ventures. This investment put the valuation of the firm at $1.2 billion, hence making the company a unicorn.

Now, the Good Glamm Group is in plans to raise about $150 million with the company at a valuation of more than $2 billion. The group is currently out on an acquisition spree and has hired Avendus Capital to look for potential investors. The group could be engaging in early investment talks, especially with global private equity funds.
In the group’s current acquisition spree, it has acquired businesses that are focused on content creation and also in influencer marketing categories. The company has also recently purchased a personal care brand Organic Harvest which is based in Delhi.
