This comes amidst the times, when Zilingo’s board is planning to remove its co-founder and the current CEO Ankiti Bose, who has been alleged with irregular accounting practices and is at-present suspended from her position till May 5.

Founded by Ankiti Bose and Dhruv Kapoor in 2015, Zilingo is a technology platform, serving brands, retailers, wholesalers, distributors and factories with innovative technological ideas to optimize their functioning.

Sequoia Capital-backed Zilingo and its CEO Ankiti Bose have been charged with alleged accounting discrepancies during the due diligence process of a proposed funding round. Ankiti has outrightly refuted the charges and contested the suspension. She stated that the accusation was a result of the harassment charges she has raised against one of the investors.

After serving Myntra as its CFO and SVP, Bafna joined Zilingo as its chief financial officer (CFO) and is a part of the review of alleged accounting irregularities at the firm.
