David Marcus, the former head of Meta’s crypto and virtual finance operations (previously Facebook), has announced the launch of his new firm, which will focus on developing Bitcoin use cases. The Lightning Network will be used.

The Lightning Network is a second-layer payment protocol that allows reading about the Term protocol, which was created to allow for smaller payments on the Bitcoin network. The system intends to make Bitcoin more practical for everyday usage, but it has failed to reach the public, despite years of research. Downturns are ideal times to focus on establishing and generating value with individuals who share your goal. “We’re delighted to get our hands dirty with Lightning, learn more, and collaborate with the community,” Marcus said in a statement.
