Fireside Ventures leads Kisah’s Series A round; valuation jumps to Rs 211 Cr

Men’s and kids’ ethnic wear brand Kisah has kicked off its Series A funding round, raising Rs 35.9 crore (around $3.8 million) led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from several individual investors.
The board at Kisah has passed a special resolution to issue 38,220 Series A preference shares at an issue price of Rs 9,393 each to raise the aforesaid amount.
Fireside Ventures is leading the round with an investment of Rs 34 crore, which has already been infused, while the remaining amount from individual investors is expected to follow soon.

According to Entrackr’s estimates, the company will be valued at around Rs 211 crore post-money, a 70% jump from its pre-Series A round, where it raised Rs 13 crore (around $1.5 million) from Wow! Momo co-founder Sagar Daryani, along with participation from Apoorv Salarpuria, Rahul Todi, Vinod Dugar, and Inflection Point Ventures.
Co-founded in 2018 by Yash Sarawagi and Yashwi Ladasaria, Kisah offers high-fashion ethnic wear for Gen Z and millennials at accessible price points. The Kolkata-based brand started with a marketplace-first approach and is now evolving into an omnichannel player.
The company has delivered a 65% year-on-year growth in revenue to Rs 41.8 crore in FY25, up from Rs 25.3 crore in FY24. At the same time, the company’s profits jumped over 2X to Rs 2 crore in FY25.
