Famous Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan Invests In Cloud Kitchen Firm Curefoods

Curefoods, a cloud kitchen company that houses brands including EatFit, Frozen Bottle, CakeZone, and Great Indian Khichdi, has acquired finance and signed a long-term partnership with Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, making him the brand ambassador for EatFit, a Curefoods brand.

Dhawan’s investment in Curefoods comes on the heels of the company’s multi-brand D2C food ordering platform, which gives customers direct access to Curefoods’ brands. Food subscription alternatives will be available on the platform, particularly for its healthy food brands, which clients will be able to consume numerous times per month.

“I greatly empathize with Curefoods and Eatfit’s objective to provide access to diverse food categories while featuring healthy options,” Varun Dhawan stated in response to the news. “As a matter of fact, I am happy to support Ankit and his team as investors and brand ambassadors. I’m excited to show the audience some of the fantastic ads we’re working on.”

Dhawan said he understands Curefoods and Eatfit’s objective to provide access to a variety of food categories while emphasizing healthy choices. Late last year, the actor made an undisclosed investment in the Fast&Up nutrition firm.

Earlier this year, Curefoods announced the purchase of Frozen Bottle and Sbarro’s franchise rights in south India. It also received $62 million in capital from Iron Pillar, Chiratae Ventures, Sixteenth Street Capital, Accel Partners, and Binny Bansal in January 2022.
