EV Motor Controller Maker Revoh Innovations Raises $150K in Seed Funding


Revoh innovations which work on developing, designing, and delivering high-quality scalable products for the Electric segment, an electric vehicle sub-component production firm founded by IIT-Madras alumni Vignesh Durai, Nihaludeen N, Balaji Karunakaran, and Marimuthu Chandrasekar, has secured $150,000 in a seed fundraising round headed by angel financiers Ravi Renganathan and Vel Kanniappan

Revoh Innovations is an electric vehicle sub-component manufacturing firm that focuses on motor controller research and development for EV applications.

IIT-M Research Park is home to Revoh Innovations’ R&D, production, and operations. The funds will be used to establish an independent production facility for the firm. According to the startup, the R&D section will continue to operate out of IIT-M Research Park.

Revoh claims that its principal purpose is to bring the manufacturing of electric car subcomponents back to the United States, reducing our reliance on foreign manufacturers. “Despite various obstacles, our unwavering determination has kept us going strong and will continue to do so!” The lessons learned have been immense. Revoh Innovations’ CEO, Vignesh D, stated, “Whatever it takes, Revoh has never given up and will glide through!”

Revoh Innovations can now create 2000 motor controllers per month for EVs, agriculture, solar energy, healthcare, industrial, and home applications. At the moment, the company has roughly 25 well-known clients, including MNCs and startups. It also has ties with several Indian automobile manufacturers.
