Customer onboarding startup Rocketlane raises $18 million in Series A round of funding


Customer onboarding platform Rocketlane has recently announced that it has raised a sum of $18 million in its Series A round of funding led by 8VC. The round also saw participation from existing investors including the likes of Nexus VP and Matrix Partners along with angel investor Gokul Rajaram amongst others.

The company officials have stated that the startup intends to utilise the recent round of funding to expand their current product offerings as well as accelerate its marketing. Furthermore, the startup also intends to increase its team size. This announcement comes just months after the startup had raised $3 million in a funding round from Nexus Venture Partners and Matrix Partners India.

Talking about the recent infusion of funds, the Partner and Chief Technology Officer at 8VC, Bhaskar Ghosh said, “Customer onboarding represents a new two-sided project management problem that simply cannot be addressed by a patchwork of existing project management tools. Rocketlane has dared to provide a fresh new take to serve this category.”

Established in 2020 by the entrepreneurial trio Srikrishnan Ganesan, Vignesh Girishankar and Deepak Bala, Rocketlane is a SaaS (Software as a Service) startup which offers a purpose-built unified workforce to enable collaboration with customers for onboarding projects. The platform helps businesses shorten their time-to-value, streamline their software implementation journeys, and provide real-time visibility.
