Uber Hiring To Expand Tech, Product Teams

Uber, on Wednesday, announced to recruit about 250 engineers for its Bengaluru and Hyderabad-based teams as the company is planning to enlarge its scope of operation in the field of engineering and product work across the country.As per Uber’s statement, the current round of hiring will help in strengthening the company’s digital payments, delivery eats, adtech, infrastructure, risk and compliance, customer obsession, infrastructure, rider and driver growth, safety, and finance technology teams. These roles are currently functioned by Hyderabad and Bengaluru tech teams.
Uber said its plans are with the vision to make mobility and delivery convenient for its customers and to facilitate transportation in almost 10,000 cities around the world. Manikandan Thangarathnam, Senior Director- Engineering said Uber teams in Hyderabad and Bengaluru are working on important global mandates. Moreover, the company is the pioneer of various industrial innovations. To serve more people across the globe, we’re hiring bright engineering minds. Therefore, we can together solve the problems occurring regarding mobility and delivery in the global market- he added.
However, Uber has started its hiring process and reaching out to potential candidates for building new teams and adding to existing ones, which also includes Uber for Business, Uber infrastructure, eats, marketplace, media and advertising platforms.
