Singapore-based QAI Ventures has launched an industry cluster program to promote the development of quantum computing, with partnerships involving SoftBank Corp. and HorizonX.
The initiative aims to support the transition of quantum technology from research to commercial use across sectors such as communications, finance, industrials, and life sciences.
SoftBank joins as a strategic partner in the Networks & Communication cluster, while HorizonX, collaborating with MIT, will provide educational support to industry leaders.
The program targets four verticals: digital infrastructure, financial services, industrials, and healthcare, aligning with Singapore’s RIE 2030 plan.
QAI Ventures also plans to implement a venture-building program in Singapore to help quantum startups develop customer-ready products over three phases.
