IIT Madras start-up Wankel Energy raises $1 million to expand clean energy tech


IIT Madras-incubated Wankel Energy Systems secures US $1 million in pre-seed funding led by Shastra VC. The deep-tech startup’s patented “Phoenix Expander” converts waste industrial steam into clean electricity, aiming to deploy over 1,000 units across India and international markets.
