SaaS Startup BarRaiser raised $4.2 million in seed led by 021 Capital and Global Founders Capital


SaaS Startup BarRaiser is a Bangaluru-based startup which secured  $4.2 million in seed led by 021 Capital and Global Founders Capital (GFC) where other angel investors also took part. The company was founded in 2020, by Prashant Kumar and Avinash Saxena.

BarRaiser is a smart Interview platform that helps people in conducting interviews on an enormous range and employing the best talents. The new funds raised will be utilized to expand BarRaiser’s impression and recruit fresh talents for its engineering and data sciences. BarRaiser professes to have onboarded over 250 businesses and interviewed over 3000 candidates via its platform. It intends to conduct structured and fair interviews and to accompany businesses in employing top-tier talents.

Global Founders Capital

According to a report, investment in the Indian SaaS soared to $4.5 billion in 2021 and an increase of 170% from 2020. The country’s SaaS market is expected to reach $30 billion by 2025, capturing an 8% to 9% share of the global SaaS market.

In January,2022 Delhi-NCR and Palo Alto-based contact centre software startup SaaS Labs secured $42 million funds in its Series B fundraiser led by Sequoia Capital India.Also, Seattle and Pune-based contract intelligence startup Icertis produced funding from a German-based SaaS giant SAP at a valuation of $5 billion. Apart from this, the two companies partnered for a product with the aim to deepen technological integration for customers.
