OMTV raises Rs 4 million in seed funding to scale original content creation

OMTV, an OTT network to showcase programs related to Indian Sanatan Culture, has received Rs 4 million in seed investment. The funding was led by Raj Kumar Jalan and Subhash Jalan. The funds received will be utilised to pay operating expenses and to increase the development of original content.
Nitin Jai Shukla, the founder of OMTV stated that the company has a group of dedicated individuals who wanted to provide material that was connected to our cultural background. And working with Raj Kumar Jalan and Subhash Jalan puts them in a strong position, allowing them to tell more fascinating stories and reach a broader audience.
The OMTV app is accessible for both Android and iOS and is linked to the short video applications Chingari and Josh. It has over 100 million views and 1 lakh followers on various applications. It has also partnered with Magic Box Animation companies.

Subhash Jalan, the Investor said that this investment in OMTV is based on the assumption that OMTV would be a game changer. There is a lot of entertainment content out there, but OMTV will be the first platform to mix enjoyment with education, wisdom, values, and morality. And also shared his excitement with the future prospects of OMTV reaching new heights in the next years.
OMTV, which provides programs connected to Indian culture, was launched during the epidemic. It contains a variety of information from mythology, history, education, and other areas.
