Majority Stake acquired by Ankit Nagori-Led Curefoods in Milkshake Brand- Frozen Bottle


Curefoods, a cloud kitchen brands aggregator announced a majority stake acquisition of milkshake brand, Frozen Bottle. The cloud kitchen startup with this deal aims to expand Frozen Bottle’s footprint taking it to a total of 50 cities with over 250 outlets.

According to Curefoods’ statement, Frozen Bottle is set to expand its dessert portfolio through this transaction. The Frozen Bottle’s portfolio expects to add in more snack-based brands in order to cater to a wider audience both via physical and online channels with varying needs. 

Curefoods was founded by Ankit Nagori in 2020. Curefoods, a spin-off of EatFit, runs over 150 cloud kitchens across India. Presently , the cloud kitchen aggregator has been operating in 15 cities. EatFit, Yumlane, Aligarh House Biryani & CakeZone–to name a few have been owned by various brands in the food segment–

Milkshake Brand- Frozen Bottle

Frozen Bottle was founded by Pranshul Yadav in 2017. A wide range of frozen desserts, thick shakes and ice cream jars are offered by Frozen Bottle. Currently it is present in more than 26 cities with over 150 outlets. More than 500 outlets has further been aimed to be launched in the next five years. 

Curefoods, the Bengaluru-based cloud kitchen startup, recently announced its merger with Mumbai-based Maverix and the acquisition of south India franchise rights of the US-based pizza chain Sbarro. In order to meet the growing needs of a diverse consumer base it aims to significantly scale its footprint and serve a multitude of food options.
