Twitter Set to Introduce Job Listings Feature for Verified Organizations
- ByStartupStory | July 22, 2023
Twitter, the leading social media platform, is gearing up to introduce an exciting new feature that will enable verified organizations to post job listings on their profiles. Though the official announcement is yet to be made, some verified organizations have already started utilizing the feature to showcase job opportunities on their Twitter bios.
The innovative job postings feature allows interested applicants to directly access the company’s website from the listing, where they can learn more about the position and apply seamlessly. Twitter’s new initiative, known as “Twitter Hiring,” aims to empower verified organizations to attract top talent for their open positions. As part of the feature, verified organizations can display up to five job positions on their profiles.
In a recent screenshot shared by app researcher Nima Owji, the feature was detailed, showcasing the ease and convenience it offers to verified organizations. Twitter is reportedly enabling these organizations to import all of their open job listings to the platform by connecting to a supported Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or XML feed. This integration allows organizations to effortlessly add their job listings to Twitter within minutes.

The decision to launch this feature aligns with Twitter’s vision to enhance its offerings and diversify its services. In May, Twitter owner Elon Musk hinted at the possibility of introducing job listings on the platform. After a user suggested implementing dating features, Musk responded with intrigue, saying, “Interesting idea, maybe jobs too.”
By introducing this feature, Twitter aims to enter the job market segment and compete with established players like LinkedIn and Indeed. In line with this effort, Twitter recently acquired Laskie, a job-matching tech startup, in May. This acquisition appears to have played a pivotal role in the development and rollout of the job listings feature.
Verified organizations will be pleased to know that they can access the job postings feature without additional costs. Media company Workweek, for instance, has already availed the feature, and its CEO, Adam Ryan, revealed that it is included in Twitter’s $1,000 per month Verified for Organizations package.
While there is a ton of hype around Zuck copying and pasting another app, Elon’s Twitter is shipping products that make a ton of sense.
We just got access to posting jobs on our company page.

While users have been posting job listings on Twitter via tweets, the introduction of this dedicated job listings feature will provide companies with a streamlined method to reach potential candidates across Twitter’s extensive user base.
