Thena Secures $5 Million in Seed Funding Co-Led by Lightspeed and First Round Capital

Thena, a customer communications and intelligence platform, has successfully raised $5 million in a seed funding round. The funding round was co-led by Lightspeed and First Round Capital, two prominent investment firms.
Including the latest funding round, which has raised their total funding to $7.2 million, Thena had previously secured $2.2 million in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Pear VC and Tenacity Venture Capital.
According to a press release, Thena has stated that the newly raised funds will be utilized to intensify efforts in product innovation and to support the expansion of the company.
Thena was established in April 2022 through the joint efforts of co-founders Ankit Saxena, Govind Kavaturi, Mike Molinet, and Unmukt Raizada. The company’s flagship product offers a solution for business-to-business customer communications on platforms like Slack, addressing key pain points experienced in such interactions. By automating what was once a manual process, Thena facilitates analytics and insights into customer engagement with companies. Additionally, it offers seamless integrations with internal tools like Zendesk, HubSpot, and Salesforce, ensuring smooth connectivity.
Thena emphasizes that its AI models have the capability to consolidate data from various communication channels, empowering companies to develop customized models that facilitate customer-centric decision-making on a large scale, ultimately enhancing overall profitability.
