SpaceX raises $750 Mn in round funding led by Horowitz at a valuation of $137 Bn

According to CNBC, SpaceX is raising $750 million in a new round of funding valued at $137 billion from investors including Andreessen Horowitz.
Reuters reported in November that SpaceX was in talks about an offering of mostly secondary shares that could value the company at up to $150 billion, representing a 20% increase in valuation.
In June, SpaceX raised approximately $1.68 billion in equity financing from Alphabet Inc and Fidelity Investments.
For the National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA), SpaceX has launched numerous cargo payloads and astronauts to the International Space Station.
Starlink, SpaceX’s expanding network of thousands of internet satellites, is aiming to generate significant revenue through commercialized applications such as the deployment of high-speed internet on commercial airlines.
Space Exploration Technologies Corp. is an American spacecraft manufacturer, launcher, and a satellite communications corporation. It was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk. The corporation’s headquarters is in Hawthorne, California.
