About Solinas integrity

An IIT Madras-incubated firm called Solinas is attempting to use robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the way that water and sanitation assets are managed. The company has 1.0 lakh rupees in authorized capital and 1.0 lakh rupees in fully paid-up capital.

Solinas Integrity is the inventor of cutting-edge robotic systems for pipeline infrastructure. The company develops inline inspection robotic technologies to find existing flaws like leaks, gas pockets, corrosion, sediments, and dents as well as prevent failures, extending the useful life of assets, enabling the water, wastewater, process, oil, and gas industries to perform preventive maintenance, and decreasing manual intervention and costs.  Their initial product, called ENDOBOT, uses cutting-edge technology to find and analyze leaks, corrosion, sediments, and dents in vital pipeline infrastructure. It is a pipeline internal condition assessment and defect identification tool. The tools let towns carry out preventive maintenance procedures and identify and locate pipeline flaws, enhancing asset efficiency. They have already done business with many clients, such as WATCO, Suez, Voyants, and Ulhas Nagar Corporation.

Their second item, HOMOSEP, is a robot that automatically cleans septic tanks, eradicating the needless practice of manual scavenging. This robot can clean sewage tanks and is the first of its kind to do so in India. It was developed after three years of study at IITM. This is the first septic tank cleaning robot ever created in India. It is the result of three years of study at IITM and can clean both residential and commercial sewage tanks.
