Nxtmeal Raises $750K to Expand Corporate Catering Business in Bengaluru

Bengaluru-based food-tech startup Nxtmeal has announced that it has successfully raised $750,000 in funding to scale its corporate catering operations in India’s startup and tech hub. With over four years of experience in the catering industry, the company is set to revolutionize workplace dining by integrating technology, data, and design into its operations, solving longstanding challenges that traditional catering services have failed to address.

Founded with a vision to create innovative catering solutions tailored to modern workplace needs, Nxtmeal is combining its team’s deep industry knowledge with cutting-edge technology to deliver a superior meal experience to corporate India.

“Our mission is to build innovative catering solutions for modern workplace needs & preferences by understanding day-to-day problems that traditional caterers are not able to solve,” Nxtmeal said in a statement.

The company is tackling key pain points such as long queues in cafeterias, unpredictable meal quality, and lack of customization by introducing a pre-ordering system, digital ordering, and data-driven menu planning based on consumer preferences and nutritional needs. These features are also aligned with sustainability goals, including food wastage reduction, eco-friendly production, and streamlined logistics.

As part of its next phase of growth, Nxtmeal has invested in a new 8,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art central kitchen in South Bengaluru, equipped to deliver up to 25,000 meals per day. This facility not only supports the scalability of operations but ensures high-quality and consistent food production at large volumes—addressing the needs of growing enterprise clients across the city.

“This investment will enable Nxtmeal to rapidly scale up to 25,000 meals per day, specifically for its corporate meals vertical in Bengaluru. With robust infrastructure now in place, the company is positioned to deepen its presence in the city and serve the growing demand from enterprise clients seeking reliable, high-quality, and nutritious food solutions for their employees,” the company added.

With the rise of hybrid and in-office working models, companies are increasingly focusing on providing better amenities to attract and retain talent. Nxtmeal’s offering arrives at a crucial time when employers are looking for flexible, efficient, and sustainable meal solutions that also contribute to employee well-being.

The $750K funding is being strategically deployed across infrastructure, technology integration, and operational expansion, solidifying Nxtmeal’s position as a forward-looking player in the corporate food services space.
