The Foundation for Health and Learning Empowerment (FHLE) is proud to announce that Ramveer Tanwar, nationally celebrated as the PondMan of India, has joined the organization as an Advisor. Known for his remarkable work in water conservation, urban afforestation, and grassroots mobilization, Ramveer brings with him a deep understanding of rural dynamics and environmental stewardship that extends far beyond the restoration of water bodies.
A social entrepreneur and environmental changemaker, Ramveer is the founder of Say Earth, a dynamic youth-led NGO that has led the rejuvenation of hundreds of ponds and the creation of over 50+ urban forests across India. His community-centric approach to ecological sustainability has earned him national recognition, including a feature in Mann Ki Baat by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and inclusion in Amar Chitra Katha’s “Stories of Change” series.

A Partnership Rooted in People, Planet, and Progress
FHLE operates at the intersection of health, education, livelihood, humanitarian relief, and now, with renewed commitment, environmental sustainability. With Ramveer Tanwar as an Advisor, the foundation will strategically integrate climate resilience, youth engagement, rural innovation, and community participation across all its programs. His insights will help FHLE ensure that development is not only impactful but also environmentally conscious and community-driven.
Ramveer’s experience in mobilizing thousands of citizens—especially youth and women—for causes like clean water access, waste management, green cover restoration, and eco-education, will add immense value to FHLE’s work on the ground. His advisory role will help shape projects that bridge the gap between ecological action and human development—from building sustainable village models to promoting green livelihoods and climate-smart education.
Beyond Ecology: A Holistic Vision for Empowerment
Under Ramveer’s guidance, FHLE will:
Rejuvenate traditional water bodies and promote decentralized water management.
Establish community forests, herbal gardens, and green schools in rural and semi-urban regions.
Launch environment-integrated livelihood programs, including eco-tourism, nursery development, and water literacy campaigns.
Empower local governance structures like panchayats and youth clubs to lead sustainability initiatives.
Foster climate and environment awareness in healthcare, education, and disaster relief efforts.
FHLE CEO Jyotasana Apoorva shared, “Ramveer’s philosophy resonates deeply with ours—development must be rooted in nature and led by the people it seeks to serve. His journey proves that sustainable change can begin with one determined voice and grow into a national movement.”
Strengthening the Mission with Purposeful Leadership
Ramveer Tanwar’s association marks a significant milestone in FHLE’s journey. It signals a bolder shift toward integrated, bottom-up solutions that respect local wisdom, empower communities, and build long-term resilience. Together, FHLE and Say Earth will co-create initiatives that address India’s complex development challenges—through a lens that values health, learning, livelihoods, and sustainability as interconnected forces.
This is more than an appointment—it’s a step toward redefining grassroots leadership for a greener, healthier, and more empowered India.
