Flix, a renowned global mobility provider, has announced its forthcoming entry into the Indian market in 2024. The company is actively building a dedicated team in India and has designated Surya Khurana as the managing director for the country. Flix’s expansion is poised to generate substantial employment prospects and make a positive impact on the Indian economy.
Surya Khurana has been appointed to spearhead the formation of a fresh team in Delhi, India for Flix. This strategic step not only entails the creation of substantial job opportunities but also promises to make a valuable contribution to the country’s economy.
“Flix is a growth company and will continue to expand globally. I’m excited to share that India will join the Flix network as the 42nd country worldwide,” said André Schwämmlein, co-founder and CEO of Flix.
“Our mission is to offer affordable and sustainable travel options for everyone, and we see significant demand for such services in India,” Schwämmlein said.
Flix is renowned for its contemporary fleet of buses, boasting an average age of 4-5 years, and prioritizing passenger comfort and convenience. FlixBus takes pride in equipping its buses with amenities like complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, ample legroom, power outlets, and upholding rigorous standards of cleanliness and safety. As part of their expansion into India, the company intends to introduce a seat reservation system, offering customers added convenience for their journeys.

Flix has amassed a user base of 60 million individuals, benefiting from their various services including FlixBus, FlixTrain, Greyhound in North America, and Kamil Koc in Turkey. Since its inception in 2013, Flix has achieved a remarkable milestone, transporting over 300 million passengers globally.
