Bounce Infinity and Jar App founders, as well as a founding member of Xiaomi, invest Rs 3 crore in Selligion Technologies

The world’s first consumer cloud computer was created by Selligion, who also set out to rethink computing for India by creating a hardware and cloud-based software ecosystem that can provide powerful computing to every Indian for as little as Rs. 399 a month. The team is currently testing the world’s first cloud-based computer they created with actual consumers, and before the year is through, they plan to start selling one form of their computer to clients across the nation.
Vivekananda Hallekere, the CEO of Bounce Infinity, Nischay AG, the CEO of Jar App, Alvin Tse, a founding member of Xiaomi Global, and Captain Prashant Priya, a seasoned investor and the creator of Amarante Shipping, all invested Rs. 3 crores in Selligion Technologies Private Limited as part of the seed round. The money will be used to provide a particular model of the computer to a sizable number of students on a monthly subscription basis while also developing a scalable cloud-based software ecosystem for future deployment.
Nearly all business and employment opportunities in the future will either be tech-based or tech-enabled, but data suggests that less than 10-15% of Indian homes have computers. We are rethinking computers for India by creating a cloud-based ecosystem and an accessible delivery model as a result of realising the causes of this divide. According to Yoshita Sengupta, co-founder and CEO of Selligion Technologies, “the seed fund we have acquired will help us scale faster and enable every Indian student to access opportunities that come with access to powerful computers.”
We can already see the potential effects that Selligion’s technology is having on present and future generations as well as the Indian economy and technological infrastructure.
