Bengaluru-based Curefoods Makes Strategic Investment in Millet Express to Promote Healthy Food Choices

Curefoods, a leading F&B brand house in India, has announced its strategic investment in Millet Express, a fast-growing brand focused on promoting healthy millet-based food products. The investment, made in May 2023, allows Millet Express to join Curefoods’ diverse food offerings, aligning with Curefoods’ vision of providing nutritious and delicious food options for a healthy India.

Millet Express was established with the aim of filling the gap in the food industry for healthy Indian cuisine. With this strategic investment from Curefoods, Millet Express aims to expand its market presence and cater to the growing demand for millet-based products.

Gokul Kandhi, Chief Operating Officer at Curefoods, shared his enthusiasm for the investment, stating, “The United Nations General Assembly has declared 2023 as the International Year of Millets (IYM2023), and this sector is expected to gain significant traction and support that will further enhance the growth potential of Millet Express. The brand also shares our vision of providing healthy and wholesome food choices, and we are excited to support their growth and contribute to their success.”

The collaboration between Curefoods and Millet Express allows both brands to leverage their strengths and expertise for mutual benefit. Millet Express will benefit from Curefoods’ operational excellence and industry experience, enhancing its operations and expanding its market reach.

As part of the strategic investment, Curefoods plans to introduce a wide range of millet-based products from Millet Express across its online and offline platforms. This expansion aims to cater to the evolving tastes and preferences of consumers, offering them a variety of healthy options.

Curefoods, founded by Ankit Nagori in 2020, houses several well-known brands in its portfolio, including EatFit, CakeZone, Nomad Pizza, Sharief Bhai Biryani, and Frozen Bottle. With over 200 cloud kitchens and offline stores across 15 cities in India, Curefoods is the second-largest cloud kitchen player in terms of footprint and has the largest manufacturing capability in the fresh food space.
