Ashneer Grover tweets poem after BharatPe CEO Suhail Sameer steps down

Shashvat Nakarni, the company’s founder, should “man up and take care of the business,” according to Grover, the co-founder and previous MD of the fintech company. Ashneer Grover, the company’s co-founder and previous MD, responded to Suhail Sameer’s departure as CEO of BharatPe by posting a poem on Twitter. In the poem, Grover referred to Sameer as a “nalla” and advised the founder, Shashvat Nakarni, to “man up and take care of the business.”

Grover tweeted, “Poem for start of 2023: Chala gaya Suhail Sameer – he was a nalla ! Shashvat – why don’t you man up and sambhalo the galla?!’For my English speaking friends: 1) Nalla is incompetent incapable and 2) Galla is business / helm of affairs.”

BharatPe made a statement on Tuesday. Suhail announced his resignation and stated that he will take over as the company’s strategic advisor on January 7. The fintech company announced that Nalin Negi, the current CFO, would serve as CEO pro tem.

Grover, possibly the most well-known “shark” from the first season of Shark Tank India, has been highly active on Twitter lately. The 40-year-old published her “autobiography” in December of last year under the title “Doglapan: The Hard Truth About Life And Start-Ups,” but she was not chosen for the second season, which debuted on January 2.
