Health-technology startup Meddo is in talks to acquire Doxper, another firm in the healthcare space, according to the source. This comes on the heels of the company landing $6 million funding in a round led by SRI Capital, Picus Capital and Alkemi Capital last month.
“Meddo will fully acquire Doxper. The talks are at an advanced stage,” the source further added. Meddo equips OPD clinics with technology-enabled, digital solutions to turn them into full service medical centres complete with ERM systems, diagnostic support, medicine delivery services/support and much more.

Doxper helps doctors in digitising prescriptions with digital pens and encoded papers. The company was set up in 2015 and raised $1.1 million in pre-Series A round in 2018 and $4 million funding in series A round in 2019. They have collaborated with over 2,000 clinics and over 40 hospitals since its inception.
