Madhushala, Amitabh Bachchan’s NFT collection raises nearly $1M in auction
Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan’s NFT collection of autographed posters, collectibles, and Madhushala has received about $9.66 million in its action organised by BeyondLife.Club. The latter, a venture between Rhiti Entertainment and GuardianLink.io, has announced the roll out of the NFT collection back in August.
The portion of the collection that witnessed the highest volume of bids was Madhushala- Bachchan’s recitation of his father’s poetry. The collection recorded over $7 million in bids.
The actor stated, “In this world of digitisation, NFTs have opened a new realm of opportunities to engage with my fans even more than before. The successful auction of my NFTs, some of the most treasured and personal moments of my life and career were so well received and invested in by my supporters.” He further added “This indeed was a very proud moment for me and also paves way for my industry folks too to come on board and engage with their fans with this new age technology.”
GuardianLink co-founder and CEO Ramkumar Subramaniam commented, “At Guardian, this has been a jubilant and important week.
